{This Is Me}

I’m so glad you took a minute to visit with me.

I have been a wife to one amazing husband for 17 years
I am a mom to four wonderful kids, ages 14, 9, and 7
Our twin boys were born on our third wedding anniversary
Our two younger daughters are less than two years apart in age
I am a child of God; a follower of Jesus
His never-ending gift of grace amazes me every single day
I know I need Him, every day
I educate my kids at home
I am an introvert, more so than I'd care to admit
I love coffee more than I should
I can hardly pass a Starbucks without at least a small cup of fresh-brewed
I have my camera with me everywhere I go
I see the world through the lens of my camera; a constant feed of mental snapshots
I believe every single person is beautiful
I think people should be less afraid to share their emotions
And, when I say people, I mean me.
I love to see the uniqueness of people shine through
I could people-watch all day, but that would be weird
I love to write
I'm trying to be courageous and share more of what I write
I want to be fully authentic
Clearing out my Drafts folder is on my to-do list
I love pumpkin pie
Chocolate is my favorite, always
I love asparagus and could eat it everyday
I am a book nerd
I wish I was a better home decorator and gardener
I am content, but still striving to be better

In simpler terms:

I’m a lover of images and light,
of words and emotions,
and I like to put them together here.

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love.
Where there is injury, pardon.
Where there is doubt, faith.
Where there is despair, hope.
Where there is darkness, light.
Where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master,
grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled, as to console;
to be understood, as to understand;
to be loved, as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive.
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life.
